Simon and Julia Barnaby run Piedmont Food and Wine and are assisted by a dedicated team of colleagues and contacts. The business is all about helping people to discover and experience the unique produce that this great Italian region has to offer through Wine and Food Tours, Truffle Hunting, Cookery Classes and Wine Tasting events.

'We have lived and worked in Italy for over 15 years and during this time we have got to personally know many of the growers and producers who make the fantastic wines and foods in the Piedmont region and beyond. 10 years ago we made the decision to set up our company Piedmont Food and Wine so we could share this amazing part of Italy with as many people as possible'.

ABOUT ITALIAN FOOD & WINE

'We are passionate about Italian wine and food and in particular the amazing produce in the Piedmont region'.

Simon is an Agronomist who has worked 'with the land' for most of his life! He is an Italian (Piemontese) wine fanatic and makes his own small production of Barbera d'Asti wine here in Piedmont. He has extenisively studied viticulture and wine making techniques and is qualified to WSET Advanced level and working on his WSET Diploma.

Julia's family have been in the restaurant and food business for many years. Her career took a different direction into International sales and marketing working throughout Europe and around the World, which gave her a unique insight into the many different cultures and cuisines throughout the various countries and regions. Julia is also qualified to WSET Advanced level.

Our aim is to share our experience and enthusiasm for Piedmont with our family, friends and customers.
