For this tour we introduce you to the some of the main wines and grape varieties found in the area. We collect you from your accommodation in the Asti or Alba region at 09.30 am*.

During the day we would take you to 2-3 wine producers, where you can visit the cellars and taste and explore a variety of wines from the region, including: Arneis, Dolcetto, Barbera and Barbaresco and Barolo wines.

We also drive through the vineyard landscape and visit some of the beautiful villages in the region for lunch and more food and wine tastings.

*For people staying in Turin or Milan we can arrange collection from the Asti, Alba or Alessandria train station.

For this tour we concentrate on the 'King of Wines' Barolo. 

During the day we would take you to 2-3 high quality wine producers located in some of the the most important Barolo villages to compare Single “Cru’ vineyard Barolo wines from different soils and terroir.

We can also arrange a vertical tasting of Barolo wines to see the evolution of the wine development over time for different vintages. During lunch it is possible to arrange different wines to compliment each course.

We will drive through the stunning vineyard landscapes and will also take you to visit some of the beautiful villages in the region for more food and wine tastings. 

For this tour you will get the chance to experience the 'King' and 'Queen' of wines Barolo and Barbaresco, two of the most famous wines in the world!

We drive through the World Heritage vineyard landscape to the pretty wine village of Barbaresco for an introduction to the famous wine and the historic 'Produttori' located here. We then visit a high quality Barbaresco producer where we visit the cellars and then get a chance to sample several of the wines including Barbaresco DOCG.

After lunch we travel the short distance south to the famous wine region of Barolo.  Here we will visit another high quality producer to taste their Barolo wines including single 'Cru' vineyards and diferent vintages.  We will also get the chance to visit some of the famous 'Barolo villages' such as La Morra, Castiglione Falleto and Barolo village itself.  

In the morning we travel to the Roero region where we will visit a well known producer, visit the cellars and then get to try their famous white Arneis wines and their equally good red Nebbiolo wines which as made in a similar way to Barolo but are a little lighter due to the different soil and terroir of the area. We will also get to try a few extra wine surprises along the way.

After a great lunch in a family Trattoria we travel a few miles to the Monferrato region which is home to red Barbera d'Asti wines and white Moscato wines plus a few less well known varieties. Here we will visit an historic 'noble' producer located in a Castle.  After a visit to the gardens and cellar you will get to try the high quality wines. including Barbera d'Asti and some more unique wines found only in this region.

We collect you from your accommodation at about 09.30am. In the morning we travel through the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage landscapes to would visit an excellent cheese producer in the heart of the Alta Lange for a tour of the cheese making facilities and tasting of several of the delicious and unique local cheeses. Lunch is booked at a local trattoria.

Piedmont is famous for its hazelnuts and chocolate.... this is the home of Ferrero Rocher! In the afternoon we take you to an excellent chocolate and hazelnut producer where you will see the production methods and get to taste some of their deleicious produce. We would drop you back at your accommodation early evening.
